Are you a Singaporean and proud of it, or have you been here so long you feel like a Singaporean already?  Join us like-minded people here and make your own Singaporean Declaration on the Member Wall!  Tell us what makes you a True Blue Singaporean and how we’ll manage to pick you out in a crowd whether you’re in Boston, Berlin or Bombay!  And while you’re at it, you might as well check out the Declarations of your fellow Singlish-spouters too.

Singaporeans have made their Declarations.  Add yours to the wall!

Here is an example:

SingaporeGirl’s Singaporean Declaration:

“I never leave the office without my trusty packet of tissue paper so that I can chope my seat with it at the food court.  At breakfast, I start thinking about lunch and at lunch, I start craving for dinner.  My idea of a great date is supper at Newton Hawker Centre, and I always get a kick out of hearing the kopi stall auntie shout ‘tak kiw peng’ when I order my iced milo.  I am a Complain Queen and my favourite topic is the gahmen, of course!  I can sing ‘Happy Birthday’ in three languages and cuss in four.  And when my friend calls, asking, ‘Wednesday Night?’ I know immediately that it means we’ll be making cheesy hand actions to retro music at Zouk!“
I’m Singaporean and proud of it!
