1. Contest Period
The National Rolling Polls photo contest will be held from 2 Feb 2009 - 27 Feb 2009.
2. Contest Eligibility
This contest is open to all Singaporeans and Singaporean-wannabes who are registered members of www.mysingapore.sg. (Sign up now: http://www.mysingapore.sg/Membership/).
All personal particulars submitted at sign-up must be authentic and accurate. mySingapore.sg reserves the right to reject any entries with incomplete or false personal particulars.
No purchase or fee is necessary to register, enter or to win.
Employees of mySingapore.sg, its vendors and suppliers, and their immediate families are not eligible to take part in this contest.
3. Contest Mechanics
This contest will be held under the mySingapore.sg Fun Stuff section www.mysingapore.sg/Fun_Stuff/.
Contestants must take a portrait photograph of themselves in the following moods: “Great”, “Good”, “Okay Lah” , “Lousy” and “Terrible”.
Afterwards, the Contestant will have to log in to www.mysingapore.sg and go to http://www.mysingapore.sg/Gallery/ to upload their photo into the “National Rolling Polls Photo Contest” album.
Contestants will be judged by a judging panel (50%), and by public ratings in the gallery (50%).
Winners will win a $100 Popular voucher each, provided by mysingapore.sg
4. Contest Rules and Regulations
By entering this contest, the Contestant agrees to all its terms and conditions.
Each Contestant must do the following to qualify for the contest.
- Pictures should be at least 300px (height) X 240px (width), with a 72dpi resolution.
- Subject should be framed from the waist up in portrait format.
- Photo size should not be more than 2MB.
- Post a picture on the Gallery under the “National Rolling Polls” album, stating which mood the picture is representing.
Each Contestant is only allowed to submit 1 photo for each mood. If a Contestant submits more than 1 photo in a mood, only the latest dated entry will be taken into consideration for the contest.
By submitting the entry, the Contestant is solely responsible for all information in the entry and certifies that the entry submitted is his/her own original creation and does not violate or infringe upon any copyright(s).
All entries must be complete. mySingapore.sg reserves the right to reject any incomplete entries.
By submitting the entry, the Contestant grants mySingapore.sg the rights to use the information submitted in the entry for future promotion or commercial purposes for an unlimited period.
mySingapore.sg reserves the rights to reject/ disqualify any entries that contain any obscene, profane, offensive, lewd, pornographic or otherwise inappropriate information.
5. Contest Criteria
The blog entry will be judged on the following criteria:
- Entertainment value
- Creativity
- Sheer Singaporean factor
Winners will be selected via a judging panel (50%) from mySingapore.sg, and public ratings on the Gallery (50%)
6. Contest Results
The results for the contest will be published at www.mysingapore.sg on 27 Feb 6pm.
All winners will be notified via the e-mail address that was submitted during registration as a www.mySingapore.sg member. Members are requested to update their particulars (contact details / email address) at www.mySingapore.sg (Update Particulars Now)
7. Contest Prizes
Winners will receive a $100 Popular voucher
All prizes are non-transferrable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any benefit in-kind.
Winners must collect their prizes from an address designated by mySingapore.sg.
Notwithstanding anything in these terms and conditions, mySingapore.sg reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to:
- cancel or modify this contest;
- determine and/or amend, by addition to, deletion from or variation of, these terms and conditions without prior notification, including but not limited to, the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection of winners, and the timing and venue of any act to be done, and all participants and winners shall be bound by such determination and/or amendments; and
- substitute, withdraw or cancel any prize without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason therefore and without any payment or compensation whatsoever.
